It is very important what the distribution of parties will be after the elections, whether both wings of the DPS will enter. Whether a majority will be gathered for a regular government. This is what political scientist Georgi Kiryakov said in the show "The Day Begins". on BNT, quoted by novini.bg.

In his words, during the election campaign, political parties should not draw red lines between themselves.

"The time factor is on the side of the other parties. They can break the monopoly in DPS areas. With this weakness in the DPS, it is very important that the larger parties consider entering these areas. There are voters there who do not agree with DPS's policies, he added.

Many of the political leaders enjoy the split in the DPS, enjoy the blows they inflict on each other. They perceived Dogan and Peevski as a threat, Kiryakov added.
According to the political scientist Dimitar Ganev, yesterday's decision of the CSO of the DPS is a form of political message. "Dogan's first position was a call for resignation. Now there is a clear position - exclusion from the party. The two camps are entering a new stage - an election campaign," Ganev also commented.

He recalled that in the 50th parliament DPS was the second political force. And he added that with this split, the two camps "in general will not give a greater result than the previous one".

Regarding the role of President Radev in the political situation, Ganev stated: "The President keeps his distance from all parties. Seeing the low trust, the lack of an alternative - he tries to position himself as an alternative. The president is accumulating political capital. I do not think that Radev will take drastic actions - resign from the presidency and enter parliamentary politics".
