"The removal of Delyan Peevski is a logical and consistent move in view of what he is doing during last few months", stated in "The Day Begins" Ilhan Kyuchuk - deputy chairman of the DPS and MEP.
"Disregarding the basic rules of the DPS. The facts are many. Removing a co-chair, signing blank sheets by members of the parliamentary group without explaining why they are signing. Repressive measures against non-members and sympathizers".
Delyan Peevski has many reasons to be excluded from the DPS, Ilhan Kyuchyuk was categorical.
"We made a political decision. Our decision can be appealed to the control committee. It is not by chance that after the meeting of the CSO, we have explicitly referred to the part where the interested parties can attack the decision before the competent authority".
The statute of the DPS should not be read as the devil reads the gospel, specified Kyuchuk, because there are many texts in the law that are related by analogy. The Commission is the one that should take a stance on the legal case.
"We establish the fact as a collective body in bound jurisdiction with the Honorary Chairman that this decision is legitimate".
And those who say that the honorary chairman has overstepped his rights - exactly these colleagues 11 years ago were the originators of the idea that the honorary chairman should have a special status.
"And I can still hear the voice of those politicians saying "Mr Dogan, we are not sure where the DPS is going to go, don't leave us in someone else's hands. We want you to be our mainstay, as always before.
It is they who today dispute the role of Ahmed Dogan and his legitimacy. Excuse me, what is this? - asked Kyuchuk. He explained that society wants DPS without Peevski and is adamant that "this model cannot continue".
" Dogan has never imposed a unilateral decision. He has always exercised his powers, which are clearly written in the statute.
He defined as deviant behavior the way in which Peevski treats the honorary chairman of DPS Ahmed Dogan.
"We have to save Bulgaria from the clubs, which are apparently everywhere. From the repressions that are happening to the members and sympathizers of the DPS".
Kyuchyuk stated that Peevski never had real relations with the party organizations.
Delyan Peevski's candidate for European Commissioner Iskra Mihailova is his, not DPS's, because there is a significant difference, because in order to be a candidate for European Commissioner, the collective body must have met.
"Moreover, Mrs. Mihailova was excluded from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms with the act of Tuesday. I think the answer to your question is clear because she chose the path with Delyan Peevski. Another question raised my doubts about how she ended up as the deputy chairman of the DPS, as she was not a member of the party before.
