Minister of Health Dr. Galya Kondeva ordered urgent checks in physical sites, for which information is available that it is possible to sell the so-called "energy dust“ or "energy sniff", FOCUS reported.
As a result, within the day, the teams checked over 150 commercial establishments across the country. Experts from the Commission for Consumer Protection, as well as the authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, took part in the on-site inspections.
The specified products were found in sites in 9 of the 28 regions checked: Sofia, Burgas, Varna, Blagoevgrad, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Montana, Haskovo and Sliven. They were available in various quantities between 2 and 10 pcs. packaging. The products are labeled in Bulgarian, with the announced sales price, batch number and expiration date.
The sale of 106 packages has been temporarily suspended by order. They are under embargo pending a decision regarding their safety for use.
