There are already people from both camps of the DPS waiting in front of the building of the Central Election Commission, NOVA reported. On Monday, the registration of parties and coalitions for the elections on October 27 begins there.
During the lunch hours, representatives of the "Movement for Rights and Freedoms - A New Beginning" defined by them or the people around Delyan Peevski announced that since Friday they are keeping order for the registration of the party tomorrow.
„Our young people keep the first place for 72 hours. Any attempt which, if made, cannot be successful, because our young people keep a place. I can say that there is one DPS, there is one chairman of a parliamentary group and his name is Delyan Peevski. The rest are independent people's representatives,” said Radoslav Revanski, mayor of Belica Municipality.
At the meeting where the Central Operational Bureau removed Peevski and his people from the party, new samples of the stamp of the DPS, which is needed to register the party, were also approved. From “A New Beginning” accept this decision as illegitimate.
“These shifts are illegitimate. I, as a member of the Central Operations Bureau, who is supposedly excluded… but I'm not. I was elected completely legally by the Central Council, and any attempt to have an illegitimate decision became clear, Revanski stressed.
Also on Sunday, precisely at 11 o'clock, the “Youth DPS”, who support Ahmed Dogan, published a video on social networks, in which they stated that they were the first in line to register for the upcoming elections.
“They were firmly convinced that we should stand here first, take our turn. They settled in undisturbed, without the presence of other political parties, subjects or people who present themselves as some alternatives and replicas of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms," emphasized Valentin Tonchev, independent MP, member of the DPS.
On the day of his exclusion, Delyan Peevski published a position in which he defined the decision as unconstitutional. It was subject to appeal before the Central Control Commission of DPS. According to the press center of the honorary president, the new samples of the seals must be presented to the court.
„The movement for rights and freedoms belongs to our leader Dr. Ahmed Dogan, with chairman Jevdet Chakarov, who on Monday, together with Ceyhan Ibryamov, will appear before the CEC. After we have reserved the first row, we will register for independent participation in the elections," said Tonchev.
How and in what way the DPS will be registered on Monday will become clear after the start of the registration.
