Plamen Dimitrov: 770 thousand Bulgarians receive below the average salary

According to him, "it will be difficult" to determine the budget for 2025 by the official authority and this will be a test for the work of the cabinet

What is the assessment about the new old official office and how the changes in it will affect the state budget, commented the president of KNSB Plamen Dimitrov in the studio of "The Live Day". on NOVA NEWS.

„I think that the office can be rated average. There are many topics that remained untouched – the most striking case was the minimum wage directive. But in many other areas, the necessary things were done to maintain the systems," said Dimitrov.

In his words "it will be difficult" the determination of the budget for 2025 by the official authority and this will be a test for the work of the cabinet.

„ BGN 1,077 will become the minimum wage. Current legislation is this – there is no policy, the law adopted more than a year ago is simply being implemented," he added. According to him, this amount is far from "covering the necessary income for Bulgarians".

„I am convinced that the minimum wage will be such on January 1. This will give an impetus to increase income. Let's not forget that, although the average salary has passed 1000-1100 euros, 770 thousand Bulgarians receive less than this amount. This is what the official data show," explained Dimitrov.
