A 19-year-old driver died in an accident near Sliven, according to the police . His four passengers and the driver of the other car were taken to the hospital for examination and treatment.
The accident happened on the two-lane Sliven road – Topolchane at the exit of the city around 19.00 hours last night. Two cars collided. The young driver died on the spot.
The other participant in the accident - a 58-year-old man - tested negative for alcohol.
According to initial data, the cause of the accident was incorrect overtaking by the 19-year-old driver. An investigation is underway.
