"It does not matter with whom we will be in a coalition after the early parliamentary elections after October 27, if Bulgaria moves forward in its development as a European country. What we are currently putting as a model is the model in which there is an equidistant prime minister, a professional, a lawyer or an economist who recognizes the main policy in the party's program," explained Petkov.
He assured that during the assembly, in which PP-DB was a part, they did not make a single mistake to the detriment of society. We are in politics because Bulgaria can be a normal European country, said Kiril Petkov.
According to him, there are suitable candidates for prime minister after the early elections.
"The last thing I would do right now is to say ideas and prime ministerial candidates, but what I would like to say is that we don't want to have ministers and a prime minister, but what we will want is the income policy should be part of the management program," said Petkov.
Kyril Petkov also listed the positive policies in his opinion: maternity leave should be paid in full even after the second year if the mothers return to work, continuation of judicial reform, reform of anti-corruption legislation, etc.
"During our common management, we and the BSP had certain similarities, with small differences. For example, we look at social funds as investments, and in a different way," he explained.
Petkov does not know which of the two DPS will be in the next parliament. There is a big risk for Delyan Peevski not to enter the 51st National Assembly, Kiril Petkov pointed out. If both DPS enter the parliament, PP-DB will no longer work with Delyan Peevski.
He accused Peevski in his role of politically influencing GERB not to rotate the Denkov-Gabriel cabinet.
Kiril Petkov denied being naive, but has a vision for Bulgaria for justice and an equal start for the country's development. On the principle of trial and error, Petkov sees the right direction for Bulgaria.
