Radomir Cholakov: The request for Prime Minister Borisov is provocative. We all know it's a red line

PP-DB will ask for two dangerous compromises for our country in order to have a regular cabinet

When the prime minister says that he has a bought vote, he should take measures to to find out who is buying. This was stated by the former MP Radomir Cholakov in the program "This morning" on bTV.

"For me, the elections are fair, I don't think it's good to say that they were flawed. We see that voter turnout has picked up. This helped small parties enter the parliament," he added.

Regarding the footage that appeared with inscriptions on ballots, Cholakov commented: "There are competent authorities that must start acting. For the past three and a half years, this country has been in a state of free fall.

He also commented on the election results. "With this result, one should step on the textbook on democracy - the first political force to appoint a speaker of the parliament and start negotiations for a government. In Bulgaria, the whole paradigm was turned around and it was decided that the first political power should be blackmailed and that it should make compromises," Cholakov pointed out.

In his words, changing the Constitution was a dangerous mistake for our country. "It was a very dangerous compromise. Such compromises with the state should not be made any more", he was categorical.

Now, as a compromise, the equidistant prime minister will be requested. The only thing this equidistant prime minister can do is personal PR for a political force that must come, Radomir Cholakov said. "Another dangerous compromise is for the bodies to be elected, not by the National Assembly, but to be sifted and filtered through nomination committees. That is, outsiders should tell the National Assembly who to vote for", Cholakov also said. According to him, this proposal will replace parliamentarism.

The weak result of the PP-DB is due to the fact that they did not admit their mistakes, former MP Kremena Kuneva believes. "They are a second political force, they have to put a proposal on the table, introduce it to the public and see if it is good or not.

PP-DB lost entire cities because of unsuitable candidates, she believes.

The request for Prime Minister Borissov is provocative. We all know it's a red line. On the other hand, I can't imagine what an equidistant prime minister is. How will we measure this distance? I don't know why this topic is being commented on during elections, added Kuneva.
