Dozens of settlements are without electricity due to snowfall

Dozens of settlements are temporarily without electricity, according to a report on the website of “ERM-Zapad”. In the Lovech region, where intense snowfalls continue in the foothills, the affected households are in the municipalities of Ugarchin, Teteven, Troyan, Apriltsi and Yablanitsa. Over 10 villages in Kyustendil are also without electricity. Again, the problems have been registered in the higher mountainous part of the municipality.

The forecast is for continued intense snowfalls in the mountains and foothills of Western and Central Bulgaria on Thursday and Friday. There are prerequisites for more disruptions in the electricity supply.
