A serious accident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on the Plovdiv ring road – between the junctions for Parvenets and Zlatitrap, BTV reported.
According to preliminary information, a car entered the oncoming lane and crashed into a truck.
The woman behind the wheel of the car died on the spot, and a small child was transported to the hospital.
Traffic in the indicated section has been stopped in both directions, traffic is being redirected through Plovdiv.
