The subsidy for transport in Sofia will increase by 15 million leva. We received assurances from the unions that they will convince their members to restore public transport as of tomorrow. This was stated by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov at a briefing with GERB leader Boyko Borisov.
"Our commitment is to ensure order and peace in the capital. If there are talks between employers, unions and the principal - let them be in a calm atmosphere. Sustainable solutions are the task of the municipality, not the state. The necessary approach must be found to resolve the crisis," the Prime Minister also stated.
According to Borisov, it is unacceptable and scandalous that high school graduates cannot make it to their matriculation exams.
