From 9 a.m. on May 21 to 12:30 p.m. on May 23, traffic is being restricted on the inner lane of the "Bankya" junction on the Struma Motorway due to lighting repairs. Activities in the area began at the beginning of the month, with the lighting and road surface being renovated in stages.
On May 21 and May 22, the change in the traffic organization will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Friday /May 23/ from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
During the implementation of the repair activities, traffic will move to the middle and outer lanes of the facility.
The "Road Infrastructure" Agency apologizes to drivers for the inconvenience caused, but the repair work is necessary to ensure the safety of traffic through the facilities. The appeal to drivers is to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and the speed limit, not to undertake risky overtaking, which endangers the safety of all other travelers. Do not use the emergency lanes on the highways for faster movement in heavy traffic. This prevents the passage of vehicles with a special traffic regime in the event of an accident.
