Former Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha stated that the adoption of the euro is a commitment under the treaty signed 20 years ago for entry into the European Union.
"The fears that I feel are there - I have lived abroad for so many years. I saw with my own eyes - both in Italy and in Spain the moment of transition to the euro and nothing tragic happened - on the contrary. This will integrate us even more, which is so important in the current difficult times, this will benefit everyone, but sometimes new things cause certain concerns" Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha told BNT.
