Two large trees fell this evening in Blagoevgrad due to strong winds. The incidents were without casualties, even though the trees are located in busy areas of the city, BNT reported.
In one case, the tree fell on the sidewalk in the area of "Ilinden" Street, near a number of flower shops. The other tree, which is significantly larger, collapsed in the city garden.
Fortunately, no one was passing by at the time of the fall. Civil defense teams have secured the areas, and the trees are being cut down and removed.
