The fire in Kostinbrodsko flared up again, after it was previously controlled. This time the situation is serious in the Opitsvet region. The settlement is threatened. Evacuation may be necessary, bTV reported.
The fire flared up and entered a pine forest due to the wind. The fire is currently at its peak, but if it goes down it will threaten a pumping station and an oncology center for children, which is located closest.
The flames continue to approach the center. Everyone who is in it has been instructed and is ready to evacuate. The houses of the people from the village are also located in the immediate vicinity.
All fire brigade teams are directed in this direction to prevent the fire from spreading. Many volunteers are also involved, there is also agricultural machinery.
Volunteers and fire trucks are trying to reach the area, but it is extremely difficult, as it is in a rocky area, crossed by many bushes and trees.

The fire in Kostinbrodsko has burned down over 53,000 acres in the area. Some locals doubt that it started from a military training ground above Slivnitsa. Today, the Ministry of Defense categorically denied that this happened.
The Social Minister stated that all victims of the fires can apply to the regional directorates of the Social Assistance Agency for a one-time assistance of 2,000 leva.
