Very hot weather and a second-degree warning, code orange, already throughout the country, are expected today, BNT reported.
Maximum temperatures will be between 35° and 40°, in Sofia - around 35°. Before noon it will be sunny, but in the afternoon there will be showers, mainly in the western and central regions. In Northern Bulgaria there will be a weak to moderate northeasterly wind.
Along the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny with maximum temperatures between 29° and 32° and a moderate northeasterly wind. The sea water temperature is 24° to 26°, but on the northernmost coast it is currently around 15°. The sea will be 2-3 points.
In the mountains it will be windy, with a temporarily strong easterly wind, and in the highest parts - southerly wind. Before noon it will be sunny, but in the afternoon hours in the massifs of the western half of the country it will rain and thunder.
