The MPs adopted the changes to the Euro Law on first reading. The PP-DB MPs did not support them.
These are not measures against price increases, this is communist enslavement of private business. The NRA and the CPC are given powers that are scandalous, to subjectively assess when prices have been raised excessively, after which companies will explain why they raised them. What are the criteria - is there a set of objective criteria that traders can follow? The logical explanation is that certain companies will be targeted and harassed, so that for the next 18 months, whoever doesn't listen - we will go and check it out," commented PP-DB MP Elisaveta Belobradova in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".
In her words, this is a "nefel law that will serve as a stick and harassment". According to her, it is not effective for large retail chains to publish prices once a week and for "some kind of aggregate prices" to appear. She called for this to be done every day and for customers to have the opportunity to compare prices in real time.
"The entire package of these incredible changes goes with the proposal of a joke for the people", Belobradova pointed out.
Consultations for a vote of no confidence
PP-DB will go to a meeting with MECH for the vote of no confidence that they are about to submit.
"The topic is very important - national security. We are going to this meeting to hear the reasons for PP MECH, what the result will be - we will see", noted Belobradova.
The deputies from PP-DB will submit a vote of no confidence in September at the earliest, which will be very well justified. It will also provide an alternative to what will happen if the vote is successful and the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov falls.
Future presidential candidate
Elisaveta Belobradova stated that the personality of a future presidential candidate is very important and the coalition partners will enable civil society organizations to take part in this process.
"Bulgaria's geopolitical orientation is extremely important. Presidential elections give political parties the opportunity to pull back and give an opportunity to see the people who stand behind certain values, then it will be decided who will support whom", Belobradova said.
Arrests of mayors
Regarding the announced list of PP mayors who will be arrested, the MP stated that it is real.
"If there are those who have committed a crime, they must take responsibility. The question is how these wrongdoers are identified, what measures are applied against them, whether they are measures that exist in the Criminal Procedure Code, whether what is organized against them is according to any rules and in a rational and humane, legal manner - it is obvious to everyone that there is political repression," said Elisaveta Belobradova.
