Compact crossover GAC GS3 took first place in the Chinese car quality rating. It is noted that the rating was compiled according to the methodology of the People's Republic of China Standardization Management Committee and Research Institutes.
Cars are rated based on such parameters as safety, reliability and ease of use. GAC GS3 is ahead of its competitors including Changan CS35 plus, Geely Coolray, Chery Tiggo 5, BAIC X3 and others, scoring 131 points.
The most popular version of the GAC GS3 crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 177 hp, a seven-speed robotic gearbox and front-wheel drive. The car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
The crossover features full LED lights, a panoramic sunroof, two displays on the center console (10.25 inches each), a multimedia system controlled by an 8-core processor, and a 360-degree camera.
GAC GS3 debuts in China towards the end of 2022. With the change of generation, the length of the car increased to 4,400 mm. The crossover also received a more aggressive and angular design, large bumpers and hidden door handles.
