„Bulgarian Posts“ EAD receives 9.5 million leva for the provision of specialized equipment and video surveillance systems in connection with the upcoming exchange of banknotes and coins from levs to euros at post offices.
The company announced public procurement in order to fulfill its obligations for the provision of a service of general economic interest on time. Contracts have already been concluded for the supply of detector lamps and vacuum machines worth 125,125 leva and 64,800 leva, respectively.
The order for "Supply of scanning devices for ID cards and passports - wireless barcode readers" has been published in the electronic public procurement system CAIS EOP. The estimated value is 910,000 BGN. The procedures for the delivery of bags for valuable shipments, as well as polyethylene envelopes for valuable shipments, are at the stage of consideration and evaluation of the participants' offers. The estimated values are 64,000 BGN and 64,500 BGN, respectively.
It is also planned to deliver and install video surveillance systems at sites of “Bulgarian Posts“ EAD, which will perform currency conversion, with the estimated value being 5.6 million BGN.
The funds are provided under the budget of the Ministry of Transport and Communications for 2025, which enables the company to carry out the necessary procedures under the Public Procurement Act.
