From August 14, 2025, EA "Automobile Administration" began inspections of buses that will transport children and students during the new school year.
To date, nearly 1,000 buses with school transportation contracts have been inspected. One driver's report has been drawn up for lack of a valid technical inspection and 36 prescriptions have been given to eliminate discrepancies. They are mainly related to the marking of buses with signs for transporting children, certification of fire extinguishers, tire replacement, validity of technical inspections and certificates for additional inspection of their equipment.
By September 14, inspectors of EA "Automobile Administration" will carry out preventive controls in the companies that will transport students during the new school year. The main goal is to check whether the carriers meet all the requirements and whether the buses are technically sound.
From the first school day until the end of September, the checks will also continue on the road. The inspectors will monitor the technical condition of the buses, the validity of the documents and the implementation of the already given instructions.
The control will continue throughout the school year, including during the holidays, in order to guarantee the safety of children and students when traveling.
