First working day of the deputies in the National Assembly for this week. A hearing of four cabinet ministers is scheduled for today in the committees on social policy, energy, regional policy and education, BNT reports.
Ministers Borislav Gutsanov, Zhecho Stankov, Ivan Ivanov and Krasimir Valchev will answer questions on current topics.
The parliament will vote on the first reading this week on the changes to the Law on Protection of Competition and the changes to the Law on Waste Management.
The deputies will also decide whether to create a temporary committee to examine all the facts and circumstances surrounding the construction and financing of the so-called hotel with the waterfall, associated with the wife of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.
The first vote on the gambling bill is also forthcoming.
The deputies are also expected to vote on the first reading on the changes to the Criminal Code, The Criminal Procedure Code, the amendments to the State Agency for "National Security", the amendments to the Special Intelligence Means Act, as well as the amendments to the State Agency for "Intelligence" Act.
