This is a consequence of the policy pursued by the government and the ruling majority over the past year. It was a mistake that this was not agreed upon at the very beginning, because in principle in every parliamentary republic the right of the chairman and the largest political formation, regardless of whether it has a political majority, to form a cabinet. Things are falling into place.
If I have to be honest, GERB should not seek rotation, it is their right to govern the parliament, since they bear the main responsibility for governing the state. This opinion was expressed in the program "Face to Face" Mehmed Dikme, former member of the MRF and former Minister of Agriculture on the coalition's decision to rotate the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Is Peevski's MRF?

The big mistake between the APS and the MRF was that the two formations should have united - that was the meaning and the future. The division leads to a weakening of the positions.
Borisov and the result of the elections in Pazardzhik
Pazardzhik is a very specific and separate case from the general one. Whether this can happen on a national scale - hardly, but I do not doubt that in one election the MRF could be the second political formation. Since the beginning of this parliament, this party has been on the rise. BSP and "There is such a people" say "We want MRF to support the government, but we don't want them to govern".
Dikme called for the other option to be made - Since you want this from MRF, do it for yourself. Leave the government, Delyan Peevski to enter the government, and you, not entering, support the government. Show that this is the right formula. The fear of collapse makes them want such a thing, believes the former Minister of Agriculture.
According to Dikme, there will be a completely new reformatting of the government - there is already support in society for a new left-wing formation that will steal votes from BSP. "It is possible that in new elections, GERB and MRF-New Beginning will collect 121 mandates, govern the two parties independently, and Radev's possible party will be in opposition".
GERB and DPS-New Beginning need the right-wing formations, believes Dikme. The right must unite and must seek a compromise to form a constitutional majority.
On the 2026 draft budget and governance
According to Dikme, the budget will not lead to the development of Bulgaria. "Even Morocco has surpassed us - in governance, in calmness. They have a king who they respect, but they do not approach with punishment, but with respect. In Bulgaria, we deny everything", believes the former minister.
"Government is very complicated at the moment. I would not want to be in Rosen Zhelyazkov's place. When DPS says that it is giving support without asking for anything, it means that it wants a lot", said Dikme.
