Slavia recorded their fourth consecutive championship victory after a 3:1 home victory over Dobrudzha in a match from the 17th round of the efbet League, reports BTA.
Yannis Germush scored two goals for the "Whites", and Lazar Marin scored once. Tomas Silva was accurate for the guests from Dobrich.
The two teams exchanged several dangers in the opening minutes, with Anton Ivanov's shot for the guests first finding the outside of the net. After that, Slavia had strong minutes, but Emil Stoev and Ivan Minchev missed from clear positions.
In the 34th minute, "Whites took the lead - after a low cross from a free kick by Ivan Minchev, Lazar Marin was the most resourceful, who intercepted the ball in the net - 1:0. Dobrudzha quickly got the goal back after Kostov found Tomas Silva in the penalty area in the 40th minute and he was accurate for 1:1. The highlight of the match was in the added time of the first half, when Isak Sole shot into Ventsislav Kerchev's hand, after which Radoslav Gidzhenov awarded a penalty after consulting VAR. Yannis Germush accurately executed the penalty kick and gave Slavia the lead - 2:1.
Immediately after the break, Germush scored his second goal of the match after a ricochet off a defender of the guests for the final 3:1.
Dobrudzha went on the attack more boldly and pressed the hosts, coming close to scoring several times after a mix-up in the penalty area, but no new goal was scored and Slavia took the three points.
