The Executive Council of "Yes, Bulgaria" has given a mandate to the co-chairs of the party to sign the agreement for nominating a common presidential candidate in next year's elections. This was announced by the party on its Facebook page, quoted by "Focus".

At its meeting, the Executive Council of "Yes, Bulgaria" decided:

1. Confirms support for the civil protest against the rulers, who, at the behest of Peevski, are pushing Bulgaria towards the abyss, both with the huge thefts planned in the budget and with the arrogance and anti-democratic nature of their actions. Notes the de facto collapse of the majority and the transition of the structural political crisis into another acute phase due to the refusal of reforms and the continued conquest of institutions.

The protest represents a legitimate resistance and a natural democratic response of the citizens who want to take back the state in a clash with Peevski's attempts to usurp more and more power and public resources;

2. Confirms political support for the country's European orientation and for the introduction of the euro in the Republic of Bulgaria on 01.01.2026.

3. Adopts the report on the implementation of the Plan for Resisting the Occupied State, presented to the public on 03.09.2025.

4. Approves the draft agreement on nominating a single candidate for the presidential elections in 2026, prepared jointly by the Forum for Democratic Action and the PP-DB and gives a mandate to the co-chairs to sign the agreement with all members of the Forum. Declares a commitment to expanding the participants in the agreement to non-parliamentary parties and organizations from the democratic community.

5. Assigns the preparation of documents according to the chronogram for preparing for the local elections in 2027, which by a decision of the National Council have been designated as a strategic priority of the movement," the statement reads.
