"The ugly scenes we saw were provocateurs and agitators, while the Ministry of Interior stood idly by. The center of Sofia was left without electricity right along the route along which the procession was supposed to pass. We saw that the government listened this time and withdrew the budget, but it is already too late. The people want the government to resign and we support them". This was said by the chairman of "Continuing the Change" and former Finance Minister Assen Vassilev at a briefing, quoted by "Focus".
"If the government does not resign this week, we will submit a vote of no confidence and together with all protesting citizens we will demand the resignation of the cabinet", Vassilev was categorical.
"Our message to both Borisov and Peevski is very clear: Resign this government, because it does not have the moral right to govern the country anymore. We have seen enough people across the country who want new elections and this chance must be given to them", the leader of "We Continue the Change" also said.
