This prediction was made by political analyst Slavi Vassilev in the show "From the Day" on BNT. According to him, the head of state has a real chance to emerge as the main winner from the large-scale protests that led to the government's resignation today.
"He is obliged, people expect him to take to the field", said Slavi Vassilev emotionally on national television. The analyst emphasized that Rumen Radev could achieve a serious victory in possible elections, but set one key condition – "if it plays its cards right".
Regarding the government's resignation, Vassilev expressed the opinion that the ruling party has found a clever way to get out of the tense situation. "They found a way to get out of the water dry", he commented to the host of the show.
