This is what former Deputy Prime Minister for Management of European Funds Atanas Pekanov wrote on Facebook after the election of Krum Zarkov as chairman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party.

But we need sensible and erudite people in politics, as well as pro-European social democrats in Bulgaria - a country of injustice, lack of order and captured opportunities to use our potential”, adds Pekanov.
