Actor James van der Beek, known for his leading role in the series Dawson's Creek, has died at the age of 48 after being diagnosed with colon cancer, dariknews.bg reported.
“Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed away peacefully this morning,“ his family said in a post on his social networks.
“He lived his last days with courage, faith and dignity.“
The star was diagnosed with the disease in the second half of 2023, but revealed the news only in November 2024.
The father of six children starred in numerous popular films and series in the late 90s and early 2000s. 2000s, including the cult Dawson's Creek and Varsity Blues.
