The Minister of Agriculture and Food Ivan Hristanov presented the new political cabinet of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food during a working meeting with the directors of directorates in the institution, as well as the executive directors of secondary structures. Ivana Murdjeva, Nikolay Vassilev and Atanas Atanasov have been appointed as deputy ministers.
During the meeting, Minister Hristanov and the deputy ministers outlined their priorities and specific intentions for work in the coming months. Emphasis was placed on increasing the efficiency of the administration's work, strengthening control and improving coordination between individual structures.
Minister Hristanov emphasized that the team will work with full mobilization and a clear awareness of responsibility towards society and Bulgarian agricultural producers. He stated that no formal or casual attitude towards official duties will be allowed and that the expectations for the administration are for professionalism, transparency and zero tolerance for corruption.
During the meeting, a firm commitment was expressed for transparency in management and for preventing the institution from being used as a tool for any machinations. The Minister emphasized that building a strong state requires effective institutions, clear rules and restoring public trust.
He assured that the Ministry of Agriculture and Food will work as a priority to strengthen institutional capacity, transparency in management and guarantee stability and predictability in the sector.
