The issue in this case - around the murder in the "Petrohan" hut - is that it causes tension and total distrust in the mass society towards the investigating authorities, for which they are also partly to blame. I am not an expert to say what part of the information they can bring out, what they cannot and at what time to bring it out. The feeling is created that everything is being used politically and information is being released at a spoonful. This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the "FAKT" studio and the "Conversation" program by Dimitar Kumanov from the association “Balkanka“.
“In this case, one thing is 100% certain, because these people had restricted access to the mountain for local people and tourists. This has been proven, including, I think, with testimonies from people from the Ministry of Interior, the mayor of Gintsi and people from the village. It has been proven that the people in the hut fenced off an illegal territory around the building and surrounded it with cameras, motion sensors and guarded this territory. This was made possible with the total institutional support of the government of Kiril Petkov. The Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environment and Water, the Regional Inspectorate for Environmental Protection and Water Management Sofia, and the Bulgarian Food and Agriculture Organization were involved. The Bulgarian Food and Agriculture Organization also issued them a permit for an apiary so that they could legalize this territory that they had fenced off around the hut“, added the guest.
“The people in the “Petrohan“ hut were untouchable. They blocked people from "Guntsi, who go up to the mountains to pick blueberries, raspberries, mushrooms. They asked for ID cards of the people who passed by them. How these mutrists will ask for ID cards, that is the right of the Ministry of Internal Affairs alone. I think about all this work, that information is being released every hour by spoonful, in order to smear the image of the institutions that allowed this," said Kumanov.
