“In the early hours of today, 2 pre-trial proceedings were initiated in the Smolyan Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior for the purpose of preparing a large sum of money for vote buying. Searches and seizures were carried out in one car and three addresses. 3 people were detained, the amount of 40 thousand euros was found“, explained the deputy. Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior Georgi Kandev.
According to him, as the end of election day approaches, vote buyers have become more active.
