During the night, mainly over the northeastern half of the country, there will be temporary increases in cloudiness. The wind will be from the north-northeast, moderate and strong in Eastern Bulgaria, and cold air will invade with it. The prevailing minimum temperatures will be between 4° and 9°, in Sofia - around 5°, reports the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).
The atmospheric pressure is higher than the average for the month, it will increase further, and after lunch it will start to decrease.
During the day, sunny weather with temporary increases in cloudiness will prevail. The wind will weaken to moderate and in most of the country it will be oriented from the east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 15° and 20°, in Southwestern Bulgaria slightly higher, and in Sofia - around 17°.
On the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny. A weak to moderate wind will blow from the east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 12° and 15°. The sea water temperature is 12°-13°. The sea waves will be 2-3 points.
In the mountains sunny weather will prevail. In the afternoon hours with the development of cumulus clouds mainly over the Western Rhodopes, but there will be no significant precipitation. A weak, moderate west-northwest wind will blow in the highest parts. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 10°, at 2000 meters – around 3°.
On Tuesday , sunny weather will prevail with more significant increases in cloudiness over the mountainous regions in Western Bulgaria, where short-term rain will fall in isolated places. The wind will be oriented from the southeast and daytime temperatures will slightly increase and the maximums will be between 18° and 23°, and the minimums – between 2° and 7°.
On Wednesday in the western half of the country the wind will be oriented from the north-northwest and with it cold air will begin to invade, while in Eastern Bulgaria it will remain from the southeast – moderate and temporarily strong. Cloudiness will increase and in many places in western and central Bulgaria there will be short-term rain with thunderstorms.
