You are destroying all foundations of the rule of law and institutions. BSP leader Kornelia Ninova said this from the parliamentary rostrum during the second reading debates on amendments to the Law on the Bulgarian National Bank, reported a reporter of "Focus".
"With these amendments, you set a clear example of what a conflict of interest is. Imagine Mr. Glavchev - acting prime minister, then he returns to the Audit Chamber and as chairman, by law he is obliged to check his own Council of Ministers, himself, his ministers and write reports on whether they fulfilled the law, whether they violated public contracts, whether they stole money, etc., Ninova said.
"We have never had such a vivid example of a conflict of interest. You enshrined corruption in law and it became unprovable. Now you're putting the conflict of interest in the law as a possibility, she added.
The BSP leader stated that even before these texts were submitted for voting with the changes to the Constitution, the left was against it. According to her, all these changes destroyed the institutions in our country.
"Demolition after destruction, mistake after mistake, and strategic mistakes. New text on mandate - what is it? Do you even put any sense into what you are proposing?", the leader of the left asked the MPs
Ninova was categorical that BSP will not support any of the proposals.
