Our position that Kalin Stoyanov should remain an acting minister was a principled one. We as employees are tired of constant experiments that are done every six months. This was stated by Gennady Tenev, a member of the Board of Directors of the SFSMVR on BTV.
In his words, the frequent change of the interior minister negatively affects the system. According to him, the actions of the former secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhivko Kotsev, are highly reprehensible and violate the Code of Ethics. "At one point, it turns out that the Code applies only to rank-and-file employees, but not to the general secretary. The code of ethics and the law on the Ministry of Internal Affairs are inapplicable to the chief secretary because he is an appointment of the president," Tenev added.
"In politics, we don't want to fit in. Resignations and appointments are political. At the moment, Kalin Stoyanov is a career person and it is good to work with him. Every minister comes with new ideas, leaves them half-baked. Nothing positive from so many experiments," Tenev pointed out.
