Cutting shirts, without a political act - this is what we saw from Terziev and the PPDBSS group after the scandalous case in which a municipal councilor from their group caused an accident in a drunken state, fled the scene and refused to give an alcohol and drug test.
This is what the chairman of the group of municipal councilors of GERB-SDS in the Metropolitan Municipal Council Anton Hekimyan wrote in his Facebook post.
"Ten days after the “change” and "the rescuers" of Sofia, they tore shirts, wrote loud posts and distinguished themselves from their person in the council – no political action followed. "I'm already used to seeing how words and actions at the PPBSSS diverge, but I refuse to accept that calls for morality remain only in Facebook comments," commented Hekimyan.
He recalls their positions on the day of the scandalous case:
Vasil Terziev: "The behavior of Blagovest Georgiev, a municipal councilor from the PP-DB-SS group, is unacceptable and incompatible with our values and principles, and in complete contradiction to our commitment for safety and security in our city. Responsible behavior requires one thing - resignation.
Boris Bonev: "The position of Spasi Sofia is categorical - Blagovest Georgiev, a municipal councilor expelled from the quota of Continuing the change, must immediately resign and leave the SOS, and then bear all legal consequences for the absolutely unacceptable and dangerous behavior of driving after consuming alcohol".
The PPDBSS group: "The behavior of the municipal councilor Blagovest Georgiev is unacceptable for any person and absolutely unacceptable for a public figure in a public position. That night he was driving a car after drinking alcohol and caused a minor accident - fortunately no citizens were injured.
The municipal councilor from GERB Anton Hekimyan said that after their fruitless appeals and contentless clichés in political positions, we did not see the real distinction from their municipal councilor, which is expressed in decisive action – exclusion from their political group.
