The temporary commission to investigate corrupt practices in the "Customs" Agency. will listen to the chairman of DANS Plamen Tonchev and acting finance minister Lyudmila Petkova, BNT reported.
The customs scandal broke out at the beginning of April, when the director of the agency, Petya Bankova, who is also a former employee of DANS, was arrested.
In the course of the investigation, it became clear that Bankova knew Stefan and Marin Dimitrovi, and the three are accused of participating in an organized criminal group for smuggling, money laundering and bribery.
There were also joint photos with the now former chief secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhivko Kotsev.
During the court session, the testimony of a witness was cited, according to whom Dimitrovi was also acquainted with the former Finance Minister Asen Vassilev.
