The office belongs to GERB. But one must ask why Hristo Ivanov allowed all this, since the changes in the Constitution encapsulated the power entirely in GERB. This is what ITN MP Stanislav Balabanov said in “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS.
„They wanted the president to have nothing to do with influence with the official offices, so his role should not be sought at the moment. "Now all the formations that changed the Constitution are praying to him," said the deputy.
According to him, the new parliament should change the Constitution again in order to remove the current changes.
For Kiril Vatev, Balabanov said that “when there were farmers' riots, he was ready to resign, but when Peevski and Denkov called him, he refused to do so.“
Balabanov stressed that there have never been fair elections in Bulgaria, but shared that he is a little calmer that “We are continuing the change” will not be part of the organization of the current vote.
