An expert discussion is needed on whether Bulgaria should adopt the euro.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with Euronews Bulgaria by the MEP Andrey Slabakov, who is a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists group in the European Parliament.
According to him, Bulgaria's entry into Schengen is partly not a success for our country.
„For land-based Schengen, we will have to deal with some countries first. I suggested to them in one session, if they want to accept us underground, we should dig a tunnel. This is absolutely no progress with Schengen by water and air. "The biggest problem is with land movement," Slabakov pointed out.
„My expectations for the results of the listings are positive – the more reasonable and more normal part of the political forces will have an advantage, and not as before“, the MEP also commented.
„I hope that Ursula von der Leyen will no longer be president of the European Commission. She has done enough stupid things, that's enough for her, in my opinion,“, Slabakov thinks.
