"We have an equal partnership with Vanya Grigorova partnership - we are the ones who will not get together with the assembly parties and we are the formation that will really stand up for the interests of ordinary working people in the next parliament.
This is what Maya Manolova - chairwoman of "Stand Up, Bulgaria", part of the "Solidary Bulgaria" coalition told BNT.
"In "Solidary Bulgaria" we are fighters, fighters and defenders of ordinary working people - she (Vanya Grigorova - note ed.) as a trade unionist, me as a former ombudsman. We have partners - "Bulgarian Left", "United Social Democracy", throughout the country trade unionists, active people, civil activists - people with a position and opinion, Manolova pointed out.
The break with the coalition "The Left!" it happened after Manolova failed to convince her until recently partners that working for people is more important than leadership positions.
"Our program with Vanya Grigorova is the common man. I could not convince the parties on the left that this was more important than who would be on the front line. I have met with all the left formations. The model in Sofia, in which the union included both civil organizations and citizens, gave a result in which GERB came third.
If "Solidary Bulgaria" entered the parliament, she will categorically not form a coalition with GERB, DPS and PP-DB, and the first proposal of the coalition will be for a ceiling on food prices, she also pointed out.
Manolova is categorical that there can be no unification with the BSP while Kornelia Ninova is the leader of the party.
"While on the right Boyko Borisov is the leader of a large right-wing party, there will be no real unification, and while on the left Kornelia Ninova is the chairman of the large left-wing party, there will be no unification - not because of their personal characteristics, but because of their ambitions to single-handedly rule the left and the right," she declared.
