Stanislav Bachev : There are no longer any big parties, and the people who chose not to vote are the biggest party at the moment - 1

This is the best election of the last 30 years because it showed unequivocally the disgust of the people towards the anti-elite, both those who ruled and rule and those who played the convenient role of opposition.

This is what Stanislav Bachev said – political scientist and international analyst for Radio "Focus“.

"The obvious problem here is that the people are disgusted and do not want these people. The problem is not the system, but the representation. Right now there is a huge niche that is empty, and not only in the left political space, but also in the right and in the center.“

The main conclusion after the early parliamentary elections for the political scientist is that there are no more big parties and that the people who chose not to vote are the biggest party at the moment, because "not going to vote is also a choice and also a manifestation in position“.

In his words, the political parties showed their electoral ceiling in these elections, which is essentially a bottom. According to him, the huge electoral gap in the entire spectrum of the political space is clearly noticeable, as an ebb and flow is observed in all parties.

The percentage of those who voted "I do not support anyone" is huge, but the percentage of those who deliberately did not go to vote is even larger. "These parties at the moment, this political anti-elite have no connection with the reality of the Bulgarian, regardless of his ethnicity, religion and social situation. The current anti-elite has a break with reality,” he explained, adding that it's still good that people are starting to wake up.

"It is precisely there that the key to uncovering the answer lies where the problem of Bulgarian political life lies, and that is that the people do not find representation. A large electoral niche opens up for political parties that are already stepping on the real authority and that are well accepted both in the West and in the East.“

According to Stanislav Bachev, today's politicians live in some kind of bubble of an alternative reality, outside of which things either do not exist or exist only within the framework of the election campaign.

"There is currently no goal in Bulgaria. This nation is a nation without purpose right now,” he said, adding that politicians are missing something very important, namely the demographic problem, and that the country is disintegrating as a territory with the depopulation of huge parts of its territory.

As "compressed air“ the political scientist defined the emergence of the new party "Greatness", and this definition is necessary because of all their general talk and the lack of specifics. "Talking about a wave, about salvation, etc., is simply absurd. It’s just puffery without a cover,” he summed up.
