„There is three indicators that show with a very high degree of certainty where there is a controlled and bought vote – with a very good result in the section compared to the overall results in the municipality, with a very sharp jump or drop in turnout, and when the same section in one election votes en bloc for one party and then for another.“
This was stated in the Euronews studio by political scientist Mario Rusinov from the Anti-Corruption Fund. According to him, the sections in the country that exhibit risky behavior more often are about 1,700.
The greatest concentration of risky sections is in the regions of Pazardzhik, Blagoevgrad and Burgas, the expert pointed out.
„We have been observing a serious problem recently in Montansko and Vidinsko, where there is a more serious share of controlled and bought votes”, Rusinov added.
„Over the years, the controlled vote takes a serious advantage over the bought ones”, he also noted and added that it seems that the parties have exhausted their resources for buying, which is also evident from the fact that there is not much voter turnout in the sections in question.< /p>
