What should be the distribution of the mandates, determined by the Central Electoral Commission according to the current number of the population in places, using data from the National Statistical Institute. Thus, the largest number of deputies in the 50th National Assembly send voters from the 23 electoral district of Sofia – 19 people, Nova TV analyzed the results.

The top 5 out of a total of 31 electoral districts in the country continue with Varna, which has 16 deputies, Burgas, the other two Sofia districts and the city of Plovdiv, will be represented in the parliament by between 14 and 12 people.

Least mandates – 4 each, receive a third of the constituencies. These are Vidin, Gabrovo, Kyustendil, Lovech, Montana, Pernik, Razgrad, Silistra, Smolyan, Targovishte and Yambol.

The constituencies whose representatives will be distributed most evenly in the parliament are Veliko Tarnovo and Pleven. They broadcast MPs from all 7 parties and coalitions – one or two people each.

The most unevenly distributed are the elected representatives of Kardzhali. All their mandates – a total of 5 in number, will be filled by deputies of the DPS.

The record for the most deputies from one party or coalition, broadcast from one region, is held by 23 MIR Sofia, which will send 7 PP-DB representatives to the National Assembly.

The male MPs will be 176, having fought off competition from over 4,000 other men. There will be significantly fewer women – only 64. They were chosen from among over 1,800 female candidates.

By profession, the 50th National Assembly will include the most economists, lawyers, financiers and engineers. Among the new 240 there will also be a Latin American dance coach, a former taxi driver, a manager in one of the world's leading airlines, a leader of a folk ensemble, as well as an MP who until recently worked in the family's... rock bar.

The oldest member of parliament will be Silvi Kirilov from ITN. The 73-year-old doctor-urologist will not be a deputy for the first time, as once according to the Constitution, he already had the commitment to open the first session as the oldest deputy. This happened on December 3, 2021, thus kicking off the 47th National Assembly.

The difference between him and his youngest colleague is almost 50 years. His name is Georgi Krastev and he is a representative of GERB-SDS. The 24-year-old regional coordinator of the party in Ruse has experience as a deputy and was already the youngest among his colleagues in the previous parliament.

Ramadan Atalai from DPS, who will start his term number 13 today, is also without any competition. He started working as a deputy already in the first National Assembly after the fall of the regime and has never been out of parliament since. After him, there are two more representatives of the DPS, who have behind them only one mandate less. These are Yordan Tsonev and Jevdet Chakarov.
