It is unlikely that the Bulgarian authorities would have captured Evelyn Banev - Brendo. He is wanted not only in our country, but also in two other countries - Italy and Romania. In truth, the last "live contact" was with him in 2021, when he was detained in Kiev.
This was stated in the "Good Morning Europe" investigative journalist from BNR Nikolay Hristov on the occasion of yesterday's action of Brendo, who together with a lawyer turned himself in to the capital prison.
Then conflicting information appeared that Ukraine refused to extradite, but it was not clear what happened to the investigation and where he went with the start of the war.

Did he leave Ukraine, with what documents did he travel, etc., Hristov pointed out. According to him, it will become clear what Brendo was doing after 2022, and it will become clear where he was, how he entered Bulgaria, etc.
