The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation will not change the methodology by which balancing energy prices are formed for now , NOVA reported.
Instead, compensation will be paid, provided by the excess revenue to the traders and coordinators of the balancing groups. The regulator will issue a decision today. A compensating factor is expected, which will lead to a decrease in energy prices.
KEVR has intervened and will regulate relations in the balancing energy market. The resolution of the matter will be only on the expenses on a single day, May 19.
