The Honorary Chairman of DPS Dr. Ahmed Dogan gathers today, Saturday, at his base in “Rosenets” The 17 MPs who followed his order to vote “against” office "Zhelyazkov", learned Epicenter. Bg.

Two days ago they wrote an Open Letter in which they express their support for him and share that “manipulation and disinformation is currently being carried out to the structures of the party through template declarations containing untenable suggestions”.

The letter ends with the appeal: “We are for unity and togetherness of the DPS under the leadership of Dr. Ahmed Dogan – honorary chairman of the DPS”.

The 17 deputies who signed are:

Jevdet Chakarov

Ramadan Atalay.

All of them have been invited by Dr. Dogan to a conversation, which will also be attended by former MPs Rushen Riza, Kadir Kadir and other DPS activists close to the honorary chairman.

"Dr Ahmed Dogan and I are in daily communication. He is in great shape and follows the political processes in Bulgaria, Europe and the world. Dogan has a very clear idea of the political crisis democracy in the country is in at the moment,” Valentin Tonchev, MP and member of the Central Committee of the party and one of the signatories of the letter to Ahmed Dogan, told BNT today. He revealed that “Dr. Dogan has critical thinking and a vision for the development of Bulgaria and can be useful to us at this critical moment”

“That is why we called on him to take a stance on what is happening, both in our party and in Bulgaria. And you will see that he will soon take a stand“, Tonchev also pointed out.

Neither the acting chairman Delyan Peevski, nor his deputies, nor any of the 30 people's representatives of the Movement, who disobeyed Dogan's command to vote against the GERB-SDS cabinet, were invited to the meeting.

Naturally, the meeting is closed to the media, although there are already several TV crews on the ground, colleagues told Epicenter. Bg.

Dogan is expected to take pictures with his guests to show who he trusts and to issue a written message about what is happening in the party. Both Ramadan Atalai and Jevdet Chakarov hinted at such a thing in their interviews yesterday and today.
