People expect us, the politicians, to do the job for which they send us to the parliament. Instead, however, we are projecting a political reality to them without doing an ounce of useful work. That's why people don't trust us. This was stated by PP-DB deputy Bogdan Bogdanov in the morning block of bTV, quoted by novini.bg.
He explained that Bulgaria needs a stable and regular government, but he also specified that the draft cabinet proposed by GERB was not suitable to be supported by their parliamentary group.
These same people were removed four years ago because of problems and abuses, Bogdanov recalled.
In his words, one of the big mistakes of PP-DB in their management with GERB was that they allowed Delyan Peevski, who is sanctioned under the “Magnitsky” law, to discuss the future of Bulgaria.
When asked if there is still a way back to GERB, Bogdanov replied that it is the work of the leaders of the parliamentary groups.
At the end of the interview, he appealed for the dissolution of the parliament and the scheduling of the next early parliamentary elections so that the deputies can deal with the important laws for the state, which cannot be postponed any longer. As such, he pointed to the laws related to the Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Judiciary Act.
