< p>There are fighters in GERB who know how to lead Bulgaria out of the crisis. Citizens put us first, but not so much that we can govern independently. This was stated by GERB-SDS deputy Daniel Mitov on the air of BNT, quoted by novini.bg.
He criticized the behavior of the PP-DB, which immediately after the end of the last elections on June 9 announced that they would be the opposition.
Responsible parties in a parliamentary democracy have no choice but to start civilized conversations with each other to see where they have similar priorities and understanding, Mitov pointed out.
He recalled that PP-DB had two governments so far and noted that if they achieved anything, it was also thanks to the votes of GERB in the plenary hall. And he added that the PP-DB were obliged to make a compromise and support the draft cabinet of Rosen Zhelyazkov.
It was important for us to form a government, so we reached out to everyone. The people want us to have a government and stability, this should have been made clear to the other parties as well. That they did from PP-DB is that they declared against the Euro-Atlantic agenda and a stable and working government, comments Daniel Mitov.
He also pointed out that the whole “mythology” that DPS commands GERB has collapsed.
