Stoicho Stoichev: The only center of power in the DPS is the one who is silent and his name is Ahmed Dogan

Now the situation with the crack in the DPS has become very interesting. Against Peevski are Dogan, Borisov, Radev. I.e. if Borisov and Peevski are together, it's bad. But if Borisov is alone, the other parties tend to think and see him as part of some kind of government, commented Parvan Simeonov

Stoicho Stoichev: The only center of power in the DPS is the one who is silent and his name is Ahmed Dogan - 1

There are no two centers of power in the DPS. In this case, one leader speaks and the other is silent, so there are no two centers of power. The only center of power in the DPS is the one who is silent and his name is Ahmed Dogan. This is clear both to the people and to Peevski. No matter what financial resources he has, Peevski is weak. He and Bozhkov have a lot of money, he participated in the elections and you saw what happened. I.e. election results are not made with money alone. Stoycho Stoichev stated this on the air of Nova TV, quoted by novini.bg.

If we refer to the experience of the past, Dogan has a really tragic history regarding his successors. And Peevski has the tragic story of an heir. First he was supposed to be the successor of Tsvetan Vassilev, then Iliya Pavlov. If we think of them in such categories, nothing good will come out. So we have to put all this melodrama aside. The only question is why Dogan gave this recommendation to the parliamentary group hours before the vote not to support the GERB cabinet and Rosen Zhelyazkov. Because beyond the relations in the party, we had firm support from the DPS for a GERB cabinet, and suddenly there is a recommendation from Dogan not to vote, he commented.

It is absolutely true that when on the one hand we have a man with money and on the other hand a man with ideas and people, at some point the one with the people and the ideas is always stronger, and the one with the money ends. So any policy is stronger than any business, comments Parvan Simeonov.

It was obvious that Borisov did not want this cabinet to pass, he was for a demonstration. If he wanted to pass, he would have made an expert government, and he made a party one. I.e. it is clear that he did not want to pass because Borisov is not at all comfortable with what happened in the elections. Yes, he won, but he is left alone with only DPS in the cabinet. Now the situation with the crack in the DPS has become very interesting. Against Peevski are Dogan, Borisov, Radev. I.e. if Borisov and Peevski are together, it is bad. But if Borisov is alone, other parties tend to think and see him as part of some kind of government. If this is true, this could be a chance for some technical cabinet. I.e. something like everyone against Peevski, he commented.
I.e. if it turns out that Peevski is out of favor, there is some minimal chance of some legitimate form of government, he pointed out.

This scenario is quite exotic, but even if it happens it will be short-lived. It is increasingly likely that we are going to an election. Everyone is talking about how disastrous it will be to have another election in the autumn, but I am not convinced that this is worse than putting together some government out of nowhere. The cabinet cannot be an end in itself, just to have it, it is not possible, commented Stoychev.
