The National Statistical Institute reports the third consecutive month of deflation, BNT reports. Monthly inflation for June is -0.2%, and annual inflation is 2.5%.
Inflation is measured by CPI, with monthly inflation for June 2024 compared to the previous month and annual inflation for June 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year.
In June 2024, the biggest price reduction is in the groups:
„Messages“ (-1.5%)
“Clothing and shoes“ (-1.2%)
“Transport“ (-0.9%)
“Food products and soft drinks“ (-0.5%).
The biggest increase was registered in the groups:
„Restaurants and hotels“ (+2.2%)
“Various goods and services“ (+0.4%)
“Entertainment and culture“ (+0.3%)
“Health“ (+0.2%).
The prices of goods and services in the groups remain unchanged “Home furnishings, goods and services for the household and for the usual maintenance of the home“, “Education“, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels“ and “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products“.
