About 700 unemployed people will be able to join in activities related to extinguishing the fires and overcoming the damage caused by the fire in the affected municipalities. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP).

The funds for the formation of the emergency teams are in the amount of BGN 3.4 million. They were provided after the redistribution of financial resources according to programs and measures of the National Employment Action Plan approved by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivaylo Ivanov.

The measure was agreed upon during the National Council for the Promotion of Employment, according to the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Municipalities will be able to take advantage of the work of the unemployed by declaring to the labor offices how many people they can hire for emergency recovery activities.

The employed unemployed will assist the people of the affected settlements through various activities to clear their properties, as well as with unskilled work to repair the damage caused to the municipal infrastructure.

Part of the funds will be used to finance the employment of the unemployed during future urgent actions to prevent and overcome the consequences of disasters arising from fires, floods, etc.

We remind you that the victims of the fires in the village of Voden already stated yesterday that they want help from the state to clean and rebuild their homes. They even threatened to protest in front of the parliament if one was not provided to them.

In the meantime, however, it became clear that many volunteers are already working on the ground to help the injured in clearing the burned yards. People from different parts of the country helped those living in the burnt village during the weekends.
